Lindybeige on YouTube

Nikolas Lloyd

This is a great video from a YouTube channel called Lindybeige. Self-described as a “rather eclectic channel”, Lindybeige videos mostly focus on ancient and medieval warfare, which we too concentrate on, but also includes a range of interesting topics from more modern weaponry to other subjects like dance and evolutionary psychology. The ‘presenter’ Nikolas Lloyd is charismatic and funny, bringing great enthusiasm to stories of the Second Punic War and other great tales of history.

Nikolas Lloyd

Truly a Lindybeige classic. This video epitomises Lloyd’s witty style and good understanding of the time period and weaponry. How effective really were fire-arrows? Were they really as popular as Hollywood leads us to believe? Watch the video to find out more!
