The remains of a 3,000-year-old settlement has found in Warsaw, Poland. The settlement of Lusatian culture was discovered and about 1,500 artefacts were found on the site, mainly ceramic.

Cooking in Hot Springs?
Did our early ancestors boil food in hot springs? Evidence suggests hot springs may have existed near early human archaeological sites at Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania, where fossils of hominids that existed 1.8 million years ago have been found.
Sediment analysis reveals a specific hyperthermophilic bacterium that will only thrive in very hot waters, such as those found in outflow channels of boiling hot springs.

A well preserved 17th Century merchant ship was found in Baltic Sea at depth of roughly 85 metres. This Dutch “Fluit” ship is a three-masted vessel with a hull design and no guns which maximised cargo carrying capacity.

A preserved extinct cave bear was unearthed on anArctic island. Initial research suggests the bear to be between 22,000 and 39,500 years old!
Mummy Coffins in Saqqara, Egypt
13 stacked mummy coffins were unearthed in the ancient Egyptian necropolis of Saqqara, dating c. 2,500-year-old. They are well preserved and intricate designs painted in blue, gold, white, black & red are still visible.
